The Kantishna District was a mining community formed during the early 1900's. Now primarily a destination for guests visiting the privately owned Kantishna lodges and serves as an access point for backcountry campers. Kantishna is truly the "End of the Road".
Be sure to explore our Kantishna Experience to complement your Denali National Park and Preserve adventure. The Kantishna Experience is the only tour to feature an Interpretive Ranger from the National Park Service.

Note: There is a $4.00 fee per ticket and per campsite to change or cancel a reservation. You may change or cancel the reservation for shuttle buses as long as it is at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the departure time, either by calling (800) 622-7275 or visiting the Wilderness Access Center (WAC).
